2010/11 Series at the 1901 Arts Club

Salon at the 1901 Arts Club

The Intimate Salon performance space at the 1901 Arts Club

Following our successful debut series last season, we are delighted to announce 5 exciting new concerts at the 1901 Arts Club on London’s Southbank. Highlights will include working with Canadian cellist Christian Elliot on a Trio programme of Brahms & Smetana (Oct 13) following our chance meeting at Prussia Cove last April. We are also extremely excited about working with composer John Pickard on his Violin Sonata (Dec 9) from 2004. The piece was in fact written for Louisa’s former teacher, Gina McCormack. Later in the season we will be tackling some of the greatest monuments of the genre including the Strauss Violin Sonata and Dvorak’s stunning Four Romantic Pieces. Tickets are already on sale and you can find links to the box office through our concerts page
